The news was broken by Marlon Wayans himself, who took to his official Instagram account to reveal that the movie is slated to arrive on June 12, 2026. With the previous installment arriving in 2013, the recently-announced release date will mark a 13-year gap in the franchise which spans all the way back to the year 2000. A Trio Of Wayans Will Star

Even though the full cast of Scary Movie 6 remains unknown, it has been confirmed that the brains behind the original film will return. Marlon and Shawn Wayans helped write the original Scary Movie in 2000, and they will return to the project as part of the cast.
