Simon Pegg & Nick Frost Reuniting To Discuss Past Hits Like H๏τ Fuzz, Shaun Of The ᴅᴇᴀᴅ & More

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost will be at Awesome Con. The actors sH๏τ to stardom together with a series of winning projects—most made with celebrated writer/director Edgar Wright—including the sitcom Spaced, the “zom-com” Shaun of the ᴅᴇᴀᴅ, H๏τ Fuzz, and The World’s End. Both actors have also thrived in their own rights, with Frost appearing in projects like Attack the Block, Truth Seekers, and Star Wars: Skeleton Crew and Pegg in the Mission: Impossible series, the J.J. Abrams Star Trek series, and The Boys. Their breakout film, Shaun of the ᴅᴇᴀᴅ, celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2024.

ScreenRant is happy to announce that frequent Simon Pegg and Nick Frost will appear at Awesome Con on both Saturday and Sunday. The pair will be available for autographs and pH๏τo ops, and will also take part in a panel on the Main Stage. Attendees can expect to get to ask Pegg and Frost questions about their favorite of the pair’s projects—just don’t ask about a Shaun of the ᴅᴇᴀᴅ reboot.

Awesome Con is a three-day celebration of pop culture in Washington, DC, and will run from April 4 through 6 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Preorders for autographs and pH๏τo ops will go on sale on February 14. There are many different kinds of badges to suit the plans of prospective attendees, with single-day badges, 3-day badges, premium badges, and others available. In addition to frequent collaborators Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, Awesome Con will offer panels, signings, and more featuring stars known across decades of pop culture.

Other guests slated for Awesome Con include The Goonies cast members Corey Feldman, Sean Astin, Kerri Green, Robert Davi, and Joe Pantoliano. The Mandalorian’s Ming-Na Wen will be there, as will Firefly cast members Jewel Staite, Morena Baccarin (also known for ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool), and Sean Maher. Fans of video games and animation will be pleased to know that Mela Lee (Apex Legends), Ray Chase (X-Men ’97), Max Mittelman (One-Punch Man), Tara Sands (Hunter X Hunter), and Wes Johnson (The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim) will be there as well.

ScreenRant will also host a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie panel featuring co-creator Kevin Eastman and original actors Josh Pais, Brian Tochi, Robbie Rist, Corey Feldman, and Judith Hoag. Tied to the movie’s 40th anniversary, the cast and co-creator will look back on the making of the film and its surprising impact. Attendees will also have the chance to collect pH๏τos and autographs from the TMNT cast throughout the convention.
