Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour is estimated to boost Singapore‘s economy by over $225 million.
After performing six concerts in Singapore and wrapping the Asian leg of her world tour, the 34-year-old singer will add $225 million to $300 million to the city-state’s economy.
Her performances will carry benefits to Singapore’s hospitality, food and beverage as well as retail activities, according to DBS Bank Ltd. economist Han Teng Chua per a report by Bloomberg published on Thursday.
‘These would be mainly supported by higher foreign tourist spending,’ Chua told the outlet, adding that the city-state’s economy would be impacted by ‘a large number of oversees fans attending the Singapore concerts’.
Because of the 14-time Grammy winner — who enjoyed a date night with her boyfriend Travis Kelce and her bandmates after her concert on Friday — and her six shows, 0.2 percentage points of Singapore’s GDP will be added in just the first quarter.

Trade-reliant economy remains fragile, Shivaan Tandon, economist at Capital Economics, told Bloomberg. ‘But growth should pick up more sustainably from the second half of the year.’
The report comes shortly after the Anti-Hero hitmaker wrapped the Asian leg of her world tour.
Following her final show at the National Stadium in Singapore, she was spotted celebrating with her NFL star boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and her bandmates at Koma restaurant.
The Super Bowl winner, who is the тιԍнт end for the Kansas City Chiefs, had attended Swift’s show and was seen supporting his pop star girlfriend from the stands.
During her concert, she made a sweet dedication to him by changing the lyrics of her song Karma again and sang: ‘Karma is the guy on the Chiefs / coming straight home to me.’
After performing her incredible setlist, Kelce waited in the wings to greet and share an embrace with her upon Swift exiting the stage.
Her concert the night before was her penultimate show in the country before Swift can enjoy a two-month break.
In May, she will embark on the European leg of her tour, which will stretch over four months and begin in Paris, France.

Before her string of shows in Singapore, Swift performed in Australia, which was also the last time Kelce saw her when he flew Down Under for an adorable date at the zoo with her.
In a recent New Heights podcast episode with his brother Jason Kelce, Kelce admitted the media hype surprised him.
‘There were full on helicopters just flying around,’ he told his brother. ‘They helicoptered us! Well, not us. This is all because Taylor is the biggest and the best thing possible.’
It is unclear how the couple will be spending their time together now as Kelce is also free during the NFL off-season.
Up next, Swift will soon be releasing her upcoming record The Tortured Poets Department, which will drop on April 19.
Kelce also announced some music plans of his own as he will be bringing back his Kelce Jam music festival on May 18 in Bonner Springs, Kansas.
