🚨 US Destroys 16 Iranian Mine-Laying Vessels As IRGC Says ‘Won’t Let Single Liter’ Pá´€ss Through Hormuz.hl

The United States has delivered another crushing naval blow to Iran in the Strait of Hormuz, destroying 16 Iranian mine-laying vessels in a fierce preemptive operation.

U.S. AC-130 gunships and Navy attack helicopters unleashed devastating firepower, turning the Iranian boats into blazing wrecks before they could deploy their ᴅᴇᴀᴅly cargo of naval mines. Dramatic video released by U.S. Central Command shows precise strikes ripping through the fast-moving vessels in the narrow chokepoint, sending multiple boats to the bottom of the Gulf in mᴀssive fireballs.

Pentagon officials stated the vessels were intercepted while actively attempting to mine key shipping lanes, posing an immediate threat to both commercial tankers and U.S. warships.

In a defiant and ominous response, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) vowed total blockade, declaring: “Not a single liter of oil will pᴀss through the Strait of Hormuz. We will turn these waters into an American graveyard.”

The IRGC’s threat comes as large parts of Tehran continue to burn from sustained U.S. and Israeli airstrikes, and Iranian forces have struck American bases across the region. U.S. military casualties have now risen above 185 wounded amid the escalating conflict.

President Donald Trump praised the operation as “flawless” and issued a stern warning to Iran: “We are sinking their boats faster than they can launch them. If they try to shut down the Strait, they will lose their entire country. America controls the waters — not Iran.”

Oil prices have surged past $255 per barrel in emergency trading as global markets panic over the real possibility of a complete shutdown of the Strait of Hormuz — the critical artery carrying nearly one-fifth of the world’s oil supply. Shipping traffic remains down more than 90%, with major energy companies now refusing to risk the pᴀssage.

This latest naval clash underscores the high-stakes battle for control of the Gulf. While the U.S. maintains clear dominance at sea, Iran’s willingness to escalate with asymmetric threats and proxy attacks keeps the situation on a knife’s edge.

The war is rapidly approaching a critical tipping point. With Tehran under fire, the Hormuz Strait becoming a live combat zone, and both sides refusing to back down, the risk of a wider, more catastrophic conflict continues to grow.

This is an extremely fast-moving and dangerous situation with mᴀssive global consequences. The next few hours could determine whether the Strait of Hormuz becomes a graveyard for oil tankers — and for the global economy.

Stay alert — the battle for the world’s energy lifeline is intensifying.
